Las Bambas

A girl narrates the situation in Apurimac, where the Bambas is a mining site, and explains the consequences of this activity in the area.

Couples of women, among which we see a mother and her daughter are dressed with sequins onesies, and they touch each other changing the colors of the sequins on their clothes. While the background changes from water and plants, to landscapes of fires captured in the Amazon, the onesies change from blue and green to the colors of precious metals like cooper and gold.
